Post-jam difficulty update 2


This time the game has more than just selectable difficulties.

There is a total of 10 different layouts, because I'm too lazy to add more, sorry.

Players can now choose between 4 different colour palettes in the menu, of which I have dubbed Mono, Cool, Gameboy, and Reddish Thing.

Players have 3 new abilities:

  • Teleport - The player disappears for a moment, before reappearing further in the direction the mouse was facing, whilst going through any enemies in their way. (The player will not go beyond the mouse)
  • Flash - Allows the player to light up the maze, seeing through walls, although the player cannot move. These have a limited usage which resets at the start of each level or after dying.
  • Stun - Stuns all enemies in the maze for 5 seconds. While this has infinite usage, it has a cooldown.

Will there be another update? Maybe, I'd certainly like to add a little more juice to the game, as I still haven't done that, and I have more ideas for gadgets and abilities for the player to have at their disposal, although I'm not sure if I will add these. This will be the last update for a while, as I'd like to move on for now. Maybe I'll come back to it at some point, but for now, this is all you're getting. :)
