Made for the Weekly Jam #4, with the theme of light.
PLEASE USE THE WINDOWS EXECUATBLE IF POSSIBLE (The web version has very bad lighting and performance, I only added it for easier jam accessibility.)
FULLSCREEN RECCOMENDED

PLEASE READ EVERYTHING BELOW. (If you can be bothered)

TUTORIAL
WELCOME, SUBJECT.
The room you find yourself in is dark for a reason. In the long hallway stretching in front of you, a creature lurks, looking for a way to keep its hunger at bay. And what better way to do that than getting to you?
We've provided a way for you to keep the monster away from you in the form of a large red button. When you hear its approach, push it and it will retreat. Be careful not to waste it, it has a limited charge.
There is 4 keys hidden around the room. Find them and unlock the box to get the lightbulb. Simply screw this bulb into the ceiling and you're free to pull the lever and turn on the lights in the hall and your room.
We'd recommend not pulling that lever until you've installed the bulb. That would result in the darkest place in the building being your room. And your very sudden death.
What'll run out first? The darkness or your light?

DEV NOTES
The game works well for the most part, though the web version has very dim lighting, which I couldn't find a way to easily fix. Unless you aren't using Windows, please download the executable file.

How does it relate to the theme?
The player's only means to defend themselves is a light. Losing access to this light means game over. The objective the player is working towards is being able to turn on the lights.

Hopefully more builds than just Windows will come out at some point after the jam.
